鎌倉駅西口徒歩５分、築８０年の古民家を再生して、
６月にゲストハウスとしてOPENされる方から、
一室の壁や障子を、消しゴムはんこで描いて欲しいという、
ヒジョーーに刺激的なお仕事をいただきました！

 

現代アートの作家さんや、日本画家の方が絵を描くお部屋もあるそうです。
私は一階、角部屋の「鶴の間」を手がけます。
日本ではまだ珍しい、アーティストホテルとなるようです。

責任重大ですが、自分の身近な人や好きな人たちが
その部屋に泊まりに来てくれる想像をしつつ、
いろいろ試しながら楽しんでみようと思います（＊＾＾＊）

 

５月２５日から作業開始、６月中旬完成予定です。

 

WanderKitchen projectによるゲストハウス、
名前は『Villa Sacra』(ヴィラ・サクラ＝聖なるヴィラ）
と、なるそうです。

 

さくら、sacra、すてきな名前です。

鎌倉観光の折には、ぜひご利用くださいませ（＊＾＾＊）

 

I have undertaken a new project since this week.
I will make a picture of stamp on the wall of traditional Japanese house located in the historic samurai town of Kamakura.

This house become an unique guest house named [Villa Sacra]
produced by Mr. 栗沢 右近 and the team of Wanderkitchen-project.
The other rooms will be made by various artists.

I feel exited to new challenge.
Now I’m going to test and practice stamping 
to make walls of gold cranes like letterpress print I imagined.
I have to stamp on the wall in exact timing with the plaster half-dry out.
